Holy Trinity has the opportunity to purchase the organ at a discounted price.  Therefore we are having a fundraiser and are looking to raise $400. He graciously stayed for our potluck supper following the 4:00 pm service, which gave us some good old-fashioned visiting time with him. Our entry in the parade was Parishioner Ken Hinman’s John Deer Tractor/Trailer filled with Parishioners from Holy Trinity.  We were warmly received by Henderson folks, who interacted with our members after the parade, with their questions and conversations. Rev. Frederick Morrison, was at Holy Trinity!  See the Photos page for photos.  The Synod, held this year at St. George's in Las Vegas, was a success.  This year the children from Holy Trinity entered the Synod Art Contest - this year's theme was "Your Favorite Sacrament".  For the second year they brought home ribbons.  Congratulations!!!  We are looking forward to next year's Synod in Tulsa - maybe a C.S. See the Calendar page for time.Discussions with the property manager of the potential new space have been positive.  Research on permitting issues is ongoing with Clark County.  The unit is in the Patrick Professional Plaza on Patrick Lane, near the Green Valley area.  The hope is to secure a lease soon and set up the church office in time for the Bishop's visit. St. George's Anglican Church will be hosting the annual meeting June 14 - June 15, with Mass on June 16th.A new missal stand, sanctus bells, collection basin, and Paschal Candle were blessed and put into service at the Easter Vigil!  An new altar is under construction.A proposal on a potential space for lease has been presented to the members.  After touring the space, and consulting with the Bishop, a special meeting was held to decide a course of action.  The unanimous vote was to pursue negotiations.
